Welcome Robert Doeland!

Director of Goalkeeping

Vacaville United Soccer Club is proud to announce the hiring of Robert Doeland as Director of Goalkeeping. Robert brings an incredible wealth of knowledge along with a passion and drive to help players become their best. Coach Doeland has an extensive range of coaching and directing experience. He played professionally in the second division of the Dutch Eerste Divisie for HFC Haarlem, and locally for the Sonoma Sol and Napa 1836. He served as the Director of Goalkeeping for NorCal PDP, Solano Surf; and was a coach and goalkeeper coach for Dominican and Holy Names University.


Coach Doeland is the Director and owner of Top Klasse DFC. He holds a USSF C and D Licenses. Alongside his director duties, Robert will be coaching the Boys U12 and U13 Elite teams this season.

Welcome Niall Masterson!

Technical Director

Vacaville United Soccer Club is proud to announce the hiring of Niall Masterson as U13-U15 Assistant Technical Director. Niall joins VUSC from Oklahoma Christian University where he led the NCAA DII program to an 11-5-5 record and a #16 ranking out of 222 DII teams nationwide. before coaching at OCU he led Mid American Christian University to a 20 game unbeaten streak and #3 national ranking in NAIA. Coach Masterson has served as a head coach and scout for South Texas Olympic Development Program,  head coach for Sporting Oklahoma MLS Next Affiliate, and Youth Academy Director with Cavalry Youth Soccer Club.


Coach Masterson has a Master's Degree in Leadership, and Minor in Global Leadership along with his BA in Corporate Communications and a Minor in Psychology. Alongside his directorship duties Niall will be coaching the Boys U13 Premier and Girls U17 Platinum teams this season.

Welcome Lara Jackson!

Head Coach

Vacaville United Soccer Club is proud to announce the hiring of Lara Jackson as head coach for the VUSC Academy Program. Lara will be the head coach for the GU-9 Academy this season. She joins VUSC from Indiana University where she was Summa Cum Laude, Bachelor's - Religious Studies, Minor in Sociology and Spanish. Lara is a member of Phi Beta Kappa and Indiana University's Honors College. She has a certificate in non-profit management and works as Director of Educational Partnership, as well as, Director of Institutes and Conferences for Solution Tree. Coach Jackson holds USSF Grassroots 11v11, 9v9, & 7v7 Licenses.


On the hiring of Coach Jackson Executive Director Kris Hall said, "We are thrilled Lara is joining our coaching staff at VUSC. She is going to play a key role in our player develop process. Her experience, energy and commitment to helping players learn and grow is a perfect fit to our club culture."
