U8 Academy

VUSC U8 Academy provides the highest quality development in the Solano County area for players who desire to build a strong foundation for playing competitive soccer. The U8 program is designed to create an exciting environment that will motivate and develop players technically and foster their passion for the game. Our focus is Stage 1 development which always includes the soccer ball with an emphasis on Ball Mastery and individual skills development and possessional concepts for attacking and defending as the foundation of higher level soccer ability and awareness. This program is a fit for players seeking challenges beyond recreational soccer and who have ambition to play competitively.

TRAINING CURRICULUM

The U8 age group’s main focus is Stage 1 development which always includes the soccer ball with an emphasis on Ball Mastery and individual skills development.

The main priority will be when “WE” have possession of the soccer ball and creativity in the attack.

Defending when “THEY” have the ball will have little priority until the players reach U9 & U10. The main objective within the curriculum is to develop a fun, safe, and enjoyable experience for the players where it’s okay to make mistakes and they’ll be encouraged to learn in the game environment.

PROGRAM REGISTRATION

$800 U8 Academy for 2018-2016 + $200 Volunteer Fee*

*A $200.00 volunteer deposit per child is required for every family and is paid on October 15, 2023. If you fulfill 6 hours prior to October 15th this fee will be waived. Once paid you still have the opportunity to complete 6 hours and to be reimbursed
