Recreational Soccer

The VUSC Rec Program gives children in our community the opportunity to participate in soccer, have fun, develop teamwork, sportsmanship and a lifelong enjoyment of the game. 

Our program goal is to provide players an engaging and positive learning environment and to help players gradually improve their soccer ability and knowledge. 

Our age-appropriate curriculum focuses on individual skill acquisition, confidence, cognitive development and the expression of our player’s imagination and unique qualities. 

The VUSC Rec Program serves as a pathway to U8-U19 competitive club soccer, where team results become more of a focus. The VUSC Rec Program DOES NOT EMPHASIZE WINNING - or measure our player’s success by wins or loses.

Super Rec is the rec soccer program for players ages U13 and older. This level requires local travel to away games in surrounding towns, with home games at Horse Creek Soccer Complex.

PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS

• Age appropriate program for boys and girls of all ages.
• Games will be played on the weekends
• Parent-coaches will receive coaching education sessions
• Individual players can sign up and will be assigned to a team
• Recreational level players and parent coaches are welcome

TRAINING CURRICULUM

• Two 45 min -1.5 hour team practice session per week [depending on age]
• Curriculum specially designed to be consistent with the Vacaville United technical training guidelines

SEASON LENGTH

Recreational practices start the beginning of August and ends mid November. Super Rec Games begin in August and all other rec games begin in September.

• Registration opens March 1, 2024 - Closes June 30, 2024
• Trainings begin the beginning of August 2024
• Games begin September 2024

Player Registration $220

Early Bird Discount $25 [Expires March 31, 2024]

Sibling Discount $25 (applied to second player/after 1st sibling)

Head Coaches receive a full refund for their player's registration.

[Registration fee will be credited back at the end of a completed season in November 2024.]

You have 1 buddy request and it must be reciprocal. Every effort will be made to fulfill these requests but cannot be guaranteed.

Discounts may be combined.
