Tournament Overview
Vacaville United Soccer Club hosts a soccer tennis tournament, open to all. Soccer tennis is one of the fastest growing sub-cultures in the soccer space. It is a combination of soccer and tennis, played within a tailored court and with adjusted tennis rules. There are many ways to play. Soccer tennis is a true test of a player's individual technical skills and ability to work with others in a unique, fun, and entertaining environment.

Tournament Details
The tournament will be held Friday, June 20th. Check in is at 4:30PM and games begin promptly at 5pm.
Players will compete in teams of two.
Players must register together as a team to be accepted into the Soccer Tennis Tournament. Brackets will be divided by 4 age groups:
- La Liga: U9 & U10
- Premier League: U11 & U12
- Series A: U13 – U14
- Champions League: U15-19
Divisions may be coed depending on enrollment totals in the tournament. Brackets will be mixed levels and open. Based on registration VUSC will work diligently to divide players into equitable brackets for a fun and enjoyable experience.
Eligibility
Open to all boys and girls between the ages of U9 – U19 (25/26 Season).
Registration is 100% online & walk ups will not be accepted. Registration closes 3 days before the event.
Notes
Spectators, parents, family members, etc. are encouraged to cheer on the players HOWEVER, ZERO coaching, instruction, or negative behavior will be tolerated.
There are no warnings, you will be asked to leave immediately if you violate these rules or VUSC’s code of conducts.
Tournament Rules
Rules (in short): Players will compete in brackets based on their birth year. Teams will consist of 2 players and they will compete against other teams of 2. Scoring is rally format, meaning that a point is awarded every time play ends to which ever team earned that point. When a point is awarded service is given to that team. They will continue serving until they lose a point or one player scores 5 points in a row, in which service will move to their teammate – if the second player on the team also scores 5 points in a row service will switch to the opposing team. Games will be timed and be 6 minutes in length. If a game ends in a tie, the game will be decided by golden point – first to score wins and the team who is currently in possession will serve first. Every team is guaranteed at least 3 games.
Full Rules will be emailed to participants the week of the tournament.
Tournament Registration
Players must register as a team.
Individuals will not be accepted. Changes to a teammate will not be accepted 3 days prior to the event. The champions will receive trophies.
