Coach Robert Sams enters his second year with Vacaville United Soccer Club as coach of two Premier teams and serving as Assistant Technical Director. Coach Sams is a current professional soccer player for the Turlock Express of the MASL. He also is a current college coach for William Jessup University where he graduated from with his Bachelor’s in Business.

Coach Sams has conducted 1000’s of training sessions over the past several years for Maverick Goalkeeper Academy and GKtraining916 where he’s coached athletes at the highest youth levels while mentoring them towards their goals of playing collegiately and professionally.

Coach Sams work with Nike and next level professionalism within VUSC have already shown dividends with his two teams. In his first year he lead both his 2011 Girls and 2007 Boys teams to NorCal State Cup Championship games.
